National Mourning Day 2017

University of South Asia observed the National Mourning Day, paying tribute to the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his 42nd anniversary of martyrdom at the M A Matin Memorial Auditorium at the University on 15th August 2017. 

Marking the National Mourning Day the national flag was kept at half-mast and the day was followed by a doa mahfil and a discussion meeting.

Prof. Dr. Mamunur Rashid, Dean, School of Engineering, Rashed Chowdhury, Dean, School of Business, Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Registrar, respected faculties, officials and students were also present at the program.

The day started with recitation from the holy Quran. Then the discussion session was held. Students of all the departments recited poems, delivered speech and performed music to mark the National Mourning Day.
